Luviel LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates InvestorsStack (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile information as provided by Google.

Financial Data You Provide

We store data you voluntarily enter, including portfolio holdings, cost basis, backtest configurations, saved portfolios, watchlist tickers, and tracker settings. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore and associated with your account.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect standard technical data including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited for security, analytics, and rate-limiting purposes.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, brokerage account credentials, or any personally identifiable financial account numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe
  • To sync your data across devices (Pro subscribers)
  • To protect against unauthorized access and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (Firestore database, Firebase Authentication). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement access controls so that only you can access your account data.

While we use commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud) — data storage and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) — market data API (we proxy requests server-side; your identity is not shared with FMP)
  • Law enforcement — if required by law, subpoena, or court order

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access your data by viewing your account, portfolios, and tracker
  • Export your data using the CSV export features
  • Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at contact@luvielgames.com
  • Cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal

For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

You have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability, rectification, restriction of processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

For California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use localStorage in your browser to store theme preferences, subscription cache, and temporary data. We do not use tracking cookies. Firebase Authentication uses session cookies for authentication purposes only.

7. Age Restriction

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

8. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
